Commissioned Sketches Keep Doug Busy

Doug stays busy at comics-cartoon conventions doing a variety of commissions, like this 10 x 14 pencil and ink sketch for Joe (from Cleveland), who was also an exhibitor at Wizard World Philadelphia.

Fans frequently have Doug do sketchbook commissions.

Over the decades Doug has done thousands of gag roughs for Playboy.  Of course, not all can be selected for final art and ultimate publication in the magazine.

Unpublished Sneyd features Doug's 100 favorite gag rough rejects and a B & W profile sketch of a classic Sneyd bunny on the Introduction Page.  The self-published book was quite popular with attendees in Philadelphia as the perfect gift for Fathers' Day.

If attending Fan Expo Canada in Toronto August 22-25, stop by Doug's table in Artist Alley and get a personalized copy of Unpublished Sneyd for a Christmas gift.

Josh (from Philadelphia) bought the color rough original for Doug's June 2000, p. 105 Playboy cartoon, also published in The Art of Doug Sneyd on p. 142.

Artist Dave Bullock, also an exhibitor at Wizard World Philadelphia, had Doug personalize his copy of The Art of Doug Sneyd, which Doug will be selling at Fan Expo Canada in Toronto August 22-25.
