Doug's commissioned portrait sketches - either 9 x 12, 10 x 14 or 11 x 17 - are always popular at comics-cartoon conventions; if attending the Dallas Comic Con this weekend, stop by his booth for a visit and ask about having one done during the 3-day event.
While sketching Audrey at MegaCon in Orlando, Doug learned she was a senior attending art school in Sarasota, Florida.
Later, I visited Audrey and fellow classmates at the Ringling College of Art and Design booth; the private, not-for-profit, fully accredited college (as of 2010) had a student population of approximately 1,300 from 46 states and 46 countries.
Audrey's artwork was featured on one of three vertical banners used to promote the college during MegaCon, March 15-17 in Orlando, FL.
